We offer two types of training at The Social Pup:

Basic:

Dogs and owners who want to address behaviours such as barking, potty training, basic commands (sit, down, stay, etc.), recall and more will require basic training due to the less-complex nature of these behaviours. 

In person:

1 Hour Private Session - *Starting at $100/hr

30 min Private Session - *Staring at $60/30 mins

Virtual:

1 Hour Virtual Private Session - *Starting at $80/hr

30 min Virtual Private Session - *Starting at $50/30 mins

Advanced:

Dogs who have more complex, difficult behaviours that need to be addressed through in-depth, specialized content fall under our Advanced Behaviour Training (Behaviour Adjustment Training) category.  BAT helps animals gain confidence and social skills. BAT is a natural method that creates an emotionally safe interaction with minimal intrusion.

BAT helps animals gain confidence and social skills. BAT is a natural method that creates an emotionally safe interaction with minimal intrusion. BAT is especially useful when the “triggers” for frustration, aggression, or fear are living beings, for example when dogs bark at or bite other dogs or people.

• BAT effectively teaches social skills and helps dogs and humans live in community.
• BAT will give you a way to walk your dog that is more like a meditation or dance than a battle.
• BAT nurtures security and trust between the dog and their human family.
• BAT is humane 
• BAT gives animals agency, i.e., maximum control of safety and other significant events in their lives.
• BAT arranges safe scenarios where animals can socialize naturally and interact with dogs, people, etc. in socially acceptable ways.

Some types of behaviours may include:

• Exhibiting behaviors such as barking, lunging, and growling while on walks

• Engaging in conflicts with other dogs within the household

• Demonstrating avoidance or withdrawal in the presence of people or other dogs

• Displaying aggression through biting or barking at individuals

RATE:

1 Hour Private Session - *Starting at $150/hr

*Rates based on difficulty of behaviours and duration required. 

Travel within 15km of The Social Pup location. Anything outside of travel limits will be charged an hourly rate for gas/mileage.
