Beginners Agility course

Agility training is a fun and engaging way to boost your dog’s confidence, coordination, and focus while strengthening the bond between you and your furry friend. Our sessions are designed for Basic to Intermediate skill levels, combining mental stimulation and physical activity in a safe, supportive environment. Plus, it’s a great way to burn off extra energy! 5-week course designed for Introduction to Agility. Best suited for Beginners to Intermediate trained dogs.

Before starting agility training, it’s helpful for your dog to have a solid grasp of a few basic obedience commands. These will make the experience safer, more enjoyable, and set your pup up for success:

  1. Sit – Helps your dog stay calm and focused before starting an activity.
  2. Stay/Wait – Crucial for pausing between obstacles or waiting for your cue.
  3. Come/Recall – Ensures your dog returns to you quickly during off-leash activities.
  4. Leave It – Helps your dog ignore distractions like treats, toys, or other dogs.
  5. Focus/Look at Me – Keeps your dog’s attention on you for guidance throughout the course.

If your dog is still mastering these, no worries! As part of our course, we have incorporated obedience training to build these foundational skills.
